Air Nelson brought to the as?ocia- i lion the same rules of conduct and lair piav that he had been preach- j mg throughout a busy life in the Christian Ministry. He felt that the i directors held funds in tiust for thos:* who were trying to own a home, and I that loans should be granted when ever possible. After a loan was ] granted he was just to the associa- | Hon and sympathetic to the borrower I in connection with repayments. I Mr. Nelson has been a member of our board for twenty years. 11 is re cord of ,-\tlendrnee was high until his health prevented. Few men have lived their teach ings in every dav life as did our ' friend. He spent his time on Sundays telling others to live by the "Golden Rule", then for the remainder of the week he showed them by precept and example how to live by that ruie. Our board feel* the loss of this director, we shall miss him in our future meetings and deliberation?. We join with his fiiends in all walks of life in extending his family our sympathy. We are thankful ihrtt ht» was spared so long to take part in i our work of building homes in this community, through which home~ he felt we were building character. By direction of the board Ihi.s resolution will become a part of the minutes of the next regular meeting, a copy was ordered sent the family of Mr. Nelon and a copy pent the Henderson Dispatch for publication.
