Crystal candelabr holding white tapers flanked each side of the floral araingement. The bride-elect. Miss Patterson, and her mother, Mrs. S. P. Patterson, were presented corsages of red gla dioli. It was a case at student beating teacher, Deberry having instructed Carlisle in the art of pitching five years ago. Carlisle showed up as the better pitcher last night. Carlisle had declared he would not pitch against his former teammates, but he changed his mind and was on the mound against his teacher. "Goat" Johnson caught Carlisle for the first time and turned in a grand job. ? Ashton Warrick had three for five and Asa Kitrell had two for five to lead Henderson. Simnis. C. Lee and Overton got hits for the Romanov: Henderson won in the thirteenth frame: Warrick singled to left field; Mills bunted him to second; Allen walked; Johnson got an inticld hit to fill the bases.
