Holder's Restuarant Robbed, On opening his lunch room last Friday morning, Mr. J. YV. Holder discovered that things were not as they were left on closing the night before. Inves tigation developed the fact that the house had been entered and releived of a portion of its con tent, tne burglars securing en trance by cutting away the win dow screen.- A number of cakes and pies were missing besides a considerable amount of bottled goods. The contents of the room were considerably torn up, causing a damage, all told, of eight or ten dollars. So far, the identity of the burglars is un known. Burglars in Hickory. On last Thursday night, the store of G. L. Hawn & Son was broken into and goods to the amount of seven dollars were taken. Mr, Seabocli's blcod hound was at once brought into service and the burglars were traced to the woods near'Bobtown where all the goods were found buried underneath the leaves. - From here the dog followed the trail to the bridge beyond Brookford where the burglar supposedly took a buggy, signs of buggy having been turned being found there. No clew as to the guilty party has yet been found.
