It is equally fortu nate in the man who will conduct the fair next fall. In Mr. N. W. Clark, who was elected president, the as sociation puts at its head a young man who labored winter, spring and rammer for the fair We doubt if there is a man in Hickory or the county who did more than Mr. Clark to keep alive the flame of life in the fair, and as president he will give oven more of his time.
