Sherrill.Sherrill's Ford n Din mo nr a nnroirn FOR THEFT OF HG Cecil Hefner, a young white man, and Will Price, a small white boy, are to be tried before Recorder Camp bell this afternoon on the charge of entering- the residence of Dr. W. H. Nicholson and carrying off jewelry and silver several weeks ago. The charge against Hefner is receiving stolen goods, a diamond ring, identi fied by Mrs. Nicholson, having been in his possession !He says that he bought it from the Price boy for $1. Mrs. Robert Thomasson saw Hefner with the ring and, suspecting that it was Mrs. Nicholson's, secured posses sion an returned to the owner. Oiief Lentz, who has been working on the case, has not been able to in duce the? boys to amke a clean breast of it, but the evience is said to be strong against the boys.
