Hickory people will regret to learn of the death of William H. Robert son, Jr., at Blackstone, Va., this week. Three years ago he clerked in the Se'z shoe store and was unusu ally popular here. The subjects discussed and their leaders were as follows: "For eign and Indian Children," Mrs. Ia. Wfood; "Mountain Schools," Mrs. J. L. Latta; "Church Extension," Mrs. J. B. Pruitt; "Home Mission Assets," Mrs. C. L. Mosteller; "From Port to Plain," Mrs. J. H. Elliott; "Our Out lying Opportunities," Mrs. W. L. Boatright; "Home Mission Liabili ties," Mrs. Wi R. Bradshaw. These ladies and all those who were invited to assist in the programs showed that they had made thorough preparation and gave helpful and in spiring talks.
