DEATH OF MR. CAMPBELL Mr. J. M. Campbell of Port De posit, M.d., died SiiriTvy morning fol lowing a short illness of pneumonia. Mr. Campbell and family formerly lived in Hickory where they won the esteem and friendship of the entire community. Funeral services were held at Hopwell, Mid., Wednesday ai- ternoon and interment was in Hop-1 well cemetery by the side of Mrs. Campbell who died in Hickory about two years ago. The following chil dren survive: Mrs. Herbert Field and Miss Ruth Campbell of Greensboro, Mrs. Henry Hunt of Wiaynesville, Mr. Howard Campbell of Statesville and Mr. Emery Campbell of Arizona.
