' That the maximum period within which the said water works bonus shall mature is and shall be thirtj years, the probable period of the use fulness of the improvement afore said. That a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest of the bonds aforesaid shall be annually levied and collected. That this ordinance shall take ef fect thirty days after its first publi cation, unless in the meantime a petition for its submission to the vo ters is filed under the "Municipcw Finance Act of 1917," and that m such event it shall take effect when approved by a vote of the majority of the voters of the city. The foregoing ordinance was pass ed on its second and final reading on day of August, 1917, and was pass ed on its second and final reading on the 14th day of August, 1917., and was first published on the 20th day of August, 1917.
