THE PASTOR’S DESIRE The Apostle Paul expressed our heart’s desite when he said, “Breth ren, Pray for us,” (1 Thess. 5. 25). How .do you feel toward your pas tor? Did you ever stop to think that, of all men, a minister receives1' the len:t sympathy. He must visit the sick, comfort the sorrowing ano weep with those who weep. But when sorrow, grief or misfortune comes his way, who comds to him? If he is not fortunate enough +o please everybody why then he s. criticised. Would it he more Christ like to follow Paul’s request and pray for him? When have you really prayed for your pastor? When I say “Brethren, pray for us,” I am sure ? that I ’expre.'s the desire of every pastor in the town. We are just men like you are. We are subject to mis takes and fault just like you. Breth ren, we £eed your prayer and will you just now breathe a prayer for your pastor, whoever he may be. ■n. HAVE YOUtWON ONE? (Sometime ago a number of us pledged ourselves to win one for Christ. Have you won one yet? Whom are .you praying for? God an swers prayer. He will answer your prayer. Find an unsaved person. Pray for them daily. Invite them to come with y°u to church. Go by and bring them. Sit v beside them in ehurch and when the. invitation is given be in earneitt prayer for them, grid if the Spirit leads you, speak a word to them. Come and tell the pastor whom you are praying foi and he will join his prayer with ' yours. We feel that the Lord has greatly bleared our efforts this year. Ha haa already added 80 to the church the first three montns of this year. “ j Pr^ress In The Sunday School j The quarterly report of the Spray j Baptist Sunday School ending Marcli ! 31s^ shows that splendid progress I has been made during the quarter j oveh the same quarter of the last j three years. MINNEAPOLIS HOTEL TO HAVE RADIO PLUGS IN EACH ROOM Minneapolis, Minn., April, 7.— In keeping with the radio progress of the radio movement it will soon be possible to “listen in” from rooms of a large hotel here, which has jpntracted for the connecting' of each of several hundred rooms with radio plugs. The guest will not have to invest in a receiving set, as headphones may be rented for a small fee from the clerk’s office. According to the plans of engin- ■ eerS who have worked on the scheme for several weeks, a massive aerial and three power receiving stations will be equipped in one of the top floors of the hotel. Each | room will have a radio plug con nected to one of the head receiving yets. Feasibly df the plan was prov ed recently when ir.ore than 100 rooms listened in on one concert. The guest who, wishes radio en tertainment may call, the- office and set ol phones will be sent to him. Once connected ih the plug, the set cannot be removed until releastd by a hotel employe, thus insuring against theft by any unscrupulous guest. A sm*fl fee is added to the hotel bill for the use of the receiv ing phones.
