For about 42 years we hava been coming to this point aud many are the roads that wa have traveled. Some of these roads have been j-mooch and on either side we hare found sparkling aprings of pare water. Bat on tbe other hand we have had some rough highway to climb. We have made many mis. takes in selecting the route but as many times have we turned to find out better. At the beginning ef oar journey everything seemed bright and we were willing to let our fellows help to lead us along. Some were auxious that we should go our way and other sug gested another .way. Some were waa of policy others wen waya of true greatness. We took it upou out selves to choose our own way vibiebwasa compromise betweeu 'be above call it wbat yon please. But we are here and 42 years are ebind us. We are unable to say how many yeais lie before us. But jl we could pick up the past of our ufe and place it beioie us with the he experience that we now have e could make some improvement Dot that is an impossibility and we -halt not let that, which we can . in. 10 wh6 remedy, deter us from do ing something in the days that ' ate 10 come.
