He was a Confederate soldier and served in Company II, Xorth Caro Una troops. Two Children Burned to Death. Two small colored children were burned to death on the farm of Mr, J. T. Sturdivaut, in lanes Creek township, lust Saturday at '.'o'clock. 1 he bouse iu which they were burned was occupied by a colored man named Abe Covington.
