The landlord in Monroe is in his
glory for the first time in the recol
lection of the oldest inhabitants.
Rents have increased considerably,
and there is an ever insistent demand
for home. Mr. Randolph Kedfearn.
one of the largest landowners In this
section, says he sometimes has four
calls a day for homes, and a few fam
ilies hare even contracted with him

100 percent more than it did three or
