club had been accepted by t he North
Carolina Federation ot Clubs was en
thusiastically received, as was the
fact that they would be allowed to
send two delegates to the state con
vention which meets in Charlotte the
twenty-seventh of April. This is the
only Monroe club which has joined
the Federation so far. Invited guests
other than the regular members were
