Festus Griflln, died at her home at Midland yesterday morning about ten o'clock after an illness of a few- days of rheumatism. She was a native of Anson county and her maiden name was Lockhart. She was twice mar ried, her first marriage being to Mr. R. E. Mills, who died a number of years ago. She leaves four little girls, the youngest hut six months old. Mrs. Griffin formerly lived In Monroe and had a great many fi lends here. She was a lady of fine christian character and was a mem ber of the Presbyterian church.
