A ( i )oi) Woman Passes Away Wkdnksday Morning. Mrs. Delphia Giles, wife of Lsq. C. I), (iiles, a leading citizen of Burke living in Lin ville township, died Wednes day morning after a linerin illness. Deceased was about (' years of ae and the mother of a larjre family of children. She was a devout christian, a member oi the Methodist church and a worker in the Master's vinyard for manv years. The christian influ ence she has shed abroad in the community will live after her. The bereaved husband and children and relatives have the sympathy of the people; but they should take comfort in the assurance that deceased was ready for the summons and has o-one up higher. A Case of Appendicitis. Doyle Hinton, avd about 12 years, and a son of Mr. IL C. Hinton, of this place, was taken with appendicitis on M on d"ay and has since suffered intense pain, so much so that his physicians found it neces sary, in order to save his life, for him to be taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
