Rr*. Bark* Cllpt^ff. D. D. Dir. Culpepper is not a stranger in Mount Airy. He conducted a very aaccrsnful revival here uimr year* ago, and many remember that revival aa one of the best ever held in Mount Airy. He is one of the moat success ful evangelists of the Methodist Epis copal Church, South, having held re vival! in almost every state in the inior One of the recent revivals that has been held by Dr. Culpepper ia North Carolina was at Kins ton, in May He was there in a union meet in* of all the churches, in a large warehouse. There weje hundreds of conversions and the churches were greatly strengthened. He and his party just closed a union meeting at Cfcttdr<-»A. Texas. Great throngs heart) this noted evangelist every night. The merchants clued their places of business for the morning •evict-*. Dr. Culpepper is a fundamentalist -and believes in the "clay theory" of man. His motto ia "Put God First." He hates sin with a bitter burning hatred, hut has only love and pity for the sinner. Mr. WPUn Stoacrsa* t' i Ok of the imporUnt men of the' Culpepper party is Mr. Wtlhaal Si» erson. He is known as the "organi sation Man." Mr. Sisserson was con nected with Mime of the bi( businrs* concern* in New York before coming •oath to join Dr. Culpepper. He haa j i barge of the personal work, men's ijrer awtbin. extension work aru in every way possMe relates himself U the campaign. Mr. Ron Culpepper la the director r>f young people's work, ami a very rapabie leader. He will hav* charge f all young people's activities dur ing the campaign, combining the so-1 ■ •si with the religious. He la one of| hrse young men that everybody will like. His talks to young people are gem*. He has a real meaaage for the young people, and knows how to put H over. I Rerivak Some people do not believe la re vival*. They loae sight of the annual revival which la experienced by all of God's other creations. Plant life is revived each year, animal Ufe goes through a renewing of the body covering, and the story of the law of nature requiring a revival or renew ing might be continued indefinitely. Revivals, admitting all that might be said in criticsm, leave the conMumty body in a deaiier, more healthful con dition, the moral tone lifted higher', and a deeper spirituality. The revival | is a religious necessity.—The Child-' res* Post—Childress, Tens. Friends Church B.'H. Milltkan, Pastor. Bible School, Mm A. M. Morning Service 11:00 A. M. Evening Service MM F. M. Gat DON'T FORGET IT—Mk a GREEN RIVFR What It Means to You!' In three jrewi of cooperative marketing in Virginia, North and South Carolina the average price of tobacco, exclusive of war prices, has been twelve cents higher than the average for years prior to the organisation of the Tobacco Grow The opponents of cooperative marketing will say that the -age price of other farm products has shown an increase in the past three years also. That is true. They will not tell you, however, that die . PURCHASING POWER of the tobacco increase has, during these three years, been greater then the purchasing power of any other farm dollar. Why will they not tall you this also? • When the opposition propagandist tells you cooperative marketing of tobacco won't do, ask him to suggest a substitute for it If he's sincere, he ought to be able to offer a better plan. But if it isn't going to be cooperative marketing, orderly market ing, ' What Will It Be? It's Your Nut to Crack! The Tobacco Growers Cooperative Association
