Probably each state will plant the largest acreage it haa mr planted, in spit* of all that can -ome counties in Alabama and Mi** issippi, wt hear, have decided that they have a considerable area adapt ed to tobacco, and are going to try growing the weed. Furthermore, in that part of Virginia which can grow either bright or dark tobacco, farm er* who ha' i previosuly grown dark tobacco are ikely to grow the bright variety this year. The above quotations are given with the hope that our fanners will give them serious consideration for we do not want to have the sain* hard times that the cotton farmer Is now going through with. 1 have seen several new tobacco barns being built in the county. To Whom It May Concern: About nine years ago my son Elmer had a severe case of whooping cough which resulted in his eyes being crossed. In October, 1926,1 consulted Dr. P. W. Green, local Optometrist, about the condition of his eyes. After a thorough examination of his eyes he prescribed glasses and gave him a series of daily exercises in his office. The results have been far greater than I expected not only has his vision improved, but his eyes we now practically straight I am more than pleased with nis services and neartily commend him to any one suffering from either eye strain or croas eyes. Yours truly, W. J. JONES. Sworn and subscribed to before me this the 5th day of April, 192Y. Wade,C. Moody. Notary Public.
