There will be two games of baseball
between Wilson and Kinston teams,
Wednesday and Thursday, June Otb and
7th at Kinston. The first game will be
called promptly at 4:45 p.m. The grand
stand will be completed in a few days,
f and will afford comfortable seats for all.
Price of admission, 23 cents. Boys under

being charged 10 cents to enter the grand
stand, where a special apartment will be

Married at LaGrange.
Dr. u. ia. Wilson, a prominent young
dentist of LaGrange, was married to Miss
Almeta Violet Kennedy, daughter of Air,
and Mrs. A. VV. Kennedy, of tbe same
place, yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock
in the Christian church, Rev. D. H. Petree
performing the ceremony. '
The church was beautifully decorated
and a large crowd was present.
Dr. and Mrs. Wilson passed through
yesterday afternoon en-route to Beaufort,
where tbey will spend a month at Miss
Sarah Davis'.
