At the State convention of tobac conists at Raleigh, yesterday, for the ' purpose of raising funds and material for a tobacco exhibit at the world's fair; in St. Louis, next year, a State central committee was appointed to raise these funds and material, con sisting of eight prominent tobacconists of North Carolina.
