The fac tory started up this morning with its full complement of men. Mrs. D. D. Daughtrldge gave a magnificent supper Thurday night to the following guests: Mesdames Jacab Battle, Jr., E. L. A runaway match occurred in the city yesterday afternoon in which Mr. Luby Mooring, of Snow Hill, and Miss Same Tyndall, or tnis place, were linked together in matrimony. The marriage ceremony took place at the court house and the- happy couple departed for Snow Hill, their future home. Mr. Albert Barwlok fell from a hand car yesterday morning while on his wag home near Graingers from Kins ton, and falling under the car was run over and sustained injuries which are serious If they do not prove fataL There is a compound fracture of the left leg below the, knee, and Internal injuries from ft bruise on the chest, the extent of which are not fully deter mined yet. ' Mr. Harvlck and some young men . came to Kinston Saturday night from Graingers, over the A. C. L. on a hand car and were returning Sunday morning about daybreak when he fell from the ear, which ran over him. Dr. F. A. Whitaker was called ' to Mr. Barwick yesterday morning and rendered medical attention. The leg was : sot amputated but the physician thinks It will be necessary to do so, and also fears for the internal injuries are en tertained as hemorrhages have already ' occurred.
