Goldsboro, Sept t.-The hertff of STireena eountv left here this moraine I with two prisoners whom he waa tak ing to Snow Hill for trial this week. The prisoners had been brought here for safe keeping, and.ln fact one of the two waa spirited away from Snow Hill and brought here to keep him from being lynched. His name Is Henry Holloman, a negro, who ia accused of burglary. The other prisoner, la a negro also and is accused of shooting into a crowd of white men who : were out o'possum hunting. The event was one of social lmpor- tanoe and will long be remembered by those present with much pleasure.
