At a recent meeting of the execu

was completed by the election of the
following officers for the coming

There are now 51 children in the
Kennedy Home, and 413 at Thomas
ville, where the main institution of
the kind owned by the North Caroli

total of 4H4 children being cared for
by both the orphanage and the

county are now at the orphanage, the
latest addition to the little family
being Miss Elizabeth Bluckburn of
Kinston. Another, a little boy, is to

the home, and the rural free delivery
route going out in that direction from
the Kinston postoflice has been ex

conveniences place the home in direct
postal, telegraphic and telephonic
communication with Kinston. Fall
ing Creek remains the freight sta

caring for more cnimren ami uomg
greater work than ever before, and
the prospects for a useful future are
splendid.
