Missionary Society to Meet The Women's Missionary Society of the First Baptist church will meet Friday afternoon at 3:30 a'clock, in now present ana ready to assume her duties. She is making her home in Mr. J. G. Campen's residence, 112 North McLewean street. Pastor C. V. Blunehard asks "for her the clos est sympathy and co-operation of all members cf the church. Dr. W. C. Knox returned today from Baltimore, where he placed Mrs. Knox in the hands of a special ist at Johns Hopkins' Hospital. Special music and a social period will be features of the Young Peo ples rally at the Christian church on Friday night, which will bo led by Mr. Charlos E. Evans, field worker of the All Southern Extension Com mittee of Christian Endeavor. The choir of the Christian church, assist ed by members of some of the other choirs, will provide the music and the social committee of the Young Peo ples,' Society of Christian - Endeavor will arrange for a short social and handshaking period to follow the workers' conference to be held, after Mr. Evans address. Mr. Evans will arrive in the city tonight or Friday morning, and will conduct a rally for the Juniors and Intermediates at 3:30 p. m. Friday In the Baraca room of the Christian church. The night service will begin st 7:30 and will be held in the main auditorium of (he church.
