Joe Tilghman, aged about HO years, died suddenly at the home of his son, Ohio Hill a short distance in the country Saturday morning. Mr. Tilghman had been in declining health for sometime and had been un- tier constant care of a local piiy ! siclan. He had gone to his daught er's for a few days visit, it is under stood. Although no official notification or order has come to either, it is stated, unofficially, that Lieutenants Robert H. Rouse and Harry Lewis will be among the two thou -and sent to France at once. This selection is said to be a further recognition of tho good showing made by the young men in their training experience. The Chattanooga Times, a few days ago printed the name of Robert Rouse in the hi-nor. roll of Fort Oglethorpe, who had been selected for immediate service.
