qualified voters of a, school district.

Law, upon the question ot revoking
said tax and abolishing said local
tax district.
AND WHEREAS, two-thirds of the
qualified voters ot the Spring Garden
School District, Township No. 9, Dis
trict No. 1, have petftloned for the
said election, all requirements of the
law relative to the call of the elec
tion having been complied with,
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED
that an election shall be held in the
said district, to Ascertain the will of
the people as to the revoking of the
said tax and abolishing the said local
tax district.
It is hereby ordered that an elec
tion be held in the said district on
the 6 th day of September, 1914, at
tne regular voting place, and the
polls to be open from 9 o'clock a. m.
until 5 o'clock p. m. on the said day,
for the purpose of ascertaining the
win of the people in the said district
It is further ordered that a notice
of thirty days be given at the Court
House door in Craven County, and
three other public places in the said ,
district of the said election.
Ordered further, that for the pur
pose of holding the said election, Mr.
Aiex watson is hereby appointed
Registrar, and Messrs. J. F. Register
and O. H. Perry are hereby appointed
Poll Holders. Said officers are here
by authorized and empowered to con
duct the said election as near as may
be and at the close of the said elec
tion, the said officers hereby appoint
ed shall swear upon oath, and after
having counted the votes cast in the '
