McDonald, at the Eagle Hotel, has skipped for parts unknovn, after getting three dollars and fifty cents from Mr. Mc Donald on an order supposed to have been from Mr. W. W. Cooper. Sometime ago Gaines bought a suit of clothes from Mr. Cooper, and Mr. Me Donald agreed to keep the money out of Gaines' wages and pay it to Mr, Cooper. On last Saturday Gaines came to Mr. McDonald and asked for what money was due him. Mr. Mc Donald refused to give it to him, say ing that there was not enough due him to pay Mr. Cooper.
