R. I. BIRO DIES.
Mr. R. I. Bird, age 78 years, ied
at his home Saturday morning about
one o'clock ' Mr. JBird was a citizen
of the, Montf ords : Cove section,
r where Ke has resided for many years.
The funeral, was held Sunday, con
ducted by Rey. M. M. Huntley. In
terment was made in the Montf ords
Cove cemetery .
Mr. Bird was pmminent in his com
munity in church and fraternal cir
cles. He was a member of the
Methodist church, a Confederate vet
eran and. loyal Mason. He was -twice
ri married and is survived by his wife
and one daughter, and three sons.
