Mcintosh, Jr., enter tained her bridge club Saturday af ternoon with a dessert-bridge. Members playing were Mrs. L. W. Hagna, Mrs. Roy W. Davis, Mrs. B. A. Dickson, Mrs. George Rowe, and Mrs. Ray Smith. Visitors were Mrs. Ray Cline, and Mrs. E. C. Carnes, High score was won by Mrs. Dick son, and second high by Mrs. Davis. o Mrs. Giles Hostess At Dinner Party Mrs. G. W, Giles entertained La Nuite bridge club Monday evening with a dinner party. The home was attractively decorated with Spring flowers. Members present were Mrs. C, C. Bolch, Mrs. A. S. Brad ford, Miss Annie Laurie Blanton, Mrs. W. L. Morris, and Mrs. Wil liam Chambers. Visitors present were Mrs. Ernest Housie. and Mrs. D. N. Lonon. o To Meet Monday Night Presbyterian Women The Presbyterian Women-of-the Church will meet at 7:30 p. m., Monday, April 25, in the church auditorium, Mrs. J. N. Morris, pre sident, announced this week. The meeting is being held in the evening to give members of the business circles an opportunity to attend. Mrs. P. J. Story, president, urges all members to attend. o Elaine Turnmire Honored At Party Mrs. J. W. Turnmire entertained with a party at her home Monday, April 18, honoring her daughter Elaine on her eigtn birthday. After games were played the children gathered in the dining room and sang "Happy Birthday", then were served cake, ice cream, nuts and candy. Guests included Fern Lewis, Patricia Hewitt, Mary Mcintosh, Jane Hester, Diane Blanton, Joan Morris, Barbara Yelton, Judy Sum my, Barbara Kanipe, Linda Owens, and Patty Hall. Birthday Party Susan Gourley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Gourley, celebrated her fourth birthday with a party last Friday afternoon at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Gourley. Thirty-one children enjoyed games and favors, and were taken home in one of the busses. Mrs. J. L. Gourley and Mrs. James T. Miller assisted in serving and entertaining the guests. Fifteen children were present. The birthday cake was in the form of an Easter basket, with eggs inside.
