The village was founded by James W. Tufts, of Boston, in 1895, and has already become one of the most popular
resorts in the South. The Holly Inn has been enlarged since last season, and is first class in all its appointments. The
Casino building contains on the first floor a restaurant where good board may be obtained at moderate rates, a ladies' parlor
and bath rooms. The second story has reading room supplied with the leading papers and magazines and a game room, for
the use of all the villagers free of charge; and pool and bath rooms connected are for the use of all upon payment of a small
fee. A new village store building with more floor space than any other store in the county, is filled with a stock of general
merchandise. A fine bowling alley has just been completed, with a barber shop connected. A circulating library of more
than 1,500 volumes, and a steam laundry have recently been established. Pretty cottages dot the village and are rented at
moderate rates. For further information, illustrated and descriptive circulars, address
