Conn., was the winner of the womens
net score cup in the weekly tournament
of the Target-Pistol Club, with a net
score of four hundred and seventy-eight,
a gross average of seventy-five and
three-fifths.
Miss Eddy of Boston, scored three
hundred and seventy-four net, a gross
average of fifty-four and four-fifths;
Miss y. A. Cutler of Newton, Mass.,
three hundred and nine net, a gross aver
age of fifty-lour and four-fifths, and
Miss Augusta Endicott of Boston, two
hundred and eighty-six gross, an aver
age of ritty-seven and one fifth.

They Have a Clone Content in Trap
Shooting1 Tournament.
Indifferent scores were the rule of the
weekly trap shooting tournament, one
hundred targets at unknown angles
thrown from the expert traps. The con
test however was close enough to hold
the interest of the big company assem
bled. There was a pretty race for the
cup between Arthur C. Ketcham, New
York City, and J.D. Weseott, Union
City, Pa., both of whom had a handicap
allowances of twelve targets. Ketcham
won with sixty-six net, leading Weseott
two targets.
Other gross scores were : C. A. Lock
wood, Mew York, sixty-three; M. II.
Wilson, Cleveland, O., fifty-six; Herbert
L. Jillson, Worcester, Mass., fifty-five;
M. C. Parshall, Warren, Fa., fifty-two ;
W. S. Edey, New York, forty-four.
Next Thursday's event is thirty singles
and fifteen pairs of double targets from
the Magautrap.

The card parties at The Harvard are
showing a steady increase in popularity,
and the participants include many guests
of the Village, to whom a general invita
tion is extended. A pleasing and special
feature of these parties is the serving
of dainty refreshments at the close of
play.
There were twenty-eight participants
in the euchre party Wednesday evening,
and the prize winners were : Kev. G. Ji.

Southern Pine Nine Defeated Xwen-
ty-three to Two in Indifferent Game.
The Pinehurst nine had an easy time
of it with the Southern Pines players in
the ball game played here Wednesday,
winning by a score of twenty-three to
two, in a decidedly uninteresting game.
In future games will be confined be
tween Village nines which are closely
matched, and more of the kind of games
which opened the series are promised in
the near future.
