AN eighteen-hole, medal play, handi cap, with two classes, A and B, for The Carolina cups offered for the two best net scores in each class, was an interesting golf feature Saturday. The entry list was the largest of the season, sixty-eight participating, and the players finished closely bunched, a single stroke winning the first cup in each class. Miss K. C. Harley of Fall Elver, Mass., playing with a handicap of eighteen, and J. A. Baker of the Glen View Golf Club, Chicago, whose handi cap was twelve, tied for the first cup in Class A with seventy-one net, each, Miss Harley winning in the play-oft". In Class B, Charles Jareckl of Erie, Pa., playing with a handicap of .twelve, won the first cup with eighty-six net, leading M. B. Byrnes of New York, whose handicap was ten, a single stroke.
