HE match play handicap tournament for the "St Patrick's day " cups which ended Thursday was replete with inter esting features and close matches, Dr. W. E. Fisher, New York (10), winning the final round of Class from M. K. Waters, Lakewood, (2), four up and three to play, and F. A. King Northboro, Mass., (10), Class 13, from C II. Rosenfeld, New York, (10), by one up. 'mere were cups ior ine winner ana runner-up in Class A and a cup for the winner in Class B. The first round of Class A, was full of close matches, Dr. Fisher beating Pierce two and one ; Ormsbee, Foot, 1 up, and Wardwell, Lindsay, 2 and 1. In the second round Dr. Fisher beat Baldwin by the narrow margin of 1 up and in the semi-finals, Waters disposed of Becker to the tune of 7 and 6. In the first round of class B, Wylie and Miller had a nineteen hole match, and in the second King boat Lockwood, 1 up and llosenfeld and Kuehn won their matches by the same narrow margin.
