Palm Beach, Florida, Jan. 3, 1906 The season here is well begun, the for mal beginning taking place with the opening of The Breakers, Dec. 23rd, many coming upon the opening day to spend the holidays here. Social pleas ures are as yet of an informal character and somewhat in the background, but nature is in a charming mood and the visitors are finding much pleasure in di versions out of doors. Among the very first of the arrivals were Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Corey, of Boston, who return. Probably no golfer in the country is more widely known than Mr. Corey, and he is a frequent vis- Mr. and Mrs. Arthur II. Fenn will ar rive at Hotel Palm Beach Jan. 4th, the opening day. Mr. and Mrs. Feathers, of New York, are at their bungalow for a short stay. Mrs. Feathers who was Mrs. William Allen, has always been a favorite in Palm Beach social circles, and many will regret to learn that she will spend several years in Scotland where Mr. Feathers" has a home among the Scotch hills, and for which they will leave soon.
