MIDSEASON COMMENCEMENT
Week's Arrivals PuslHouse Counts Well
Along Towards High Water Mart.
Hotel Corridors Thronged With Con
genial People and Happiness and
Good Cheer Radiate.
HE week's arrivals have
pushed the season well
along towards the high
water mark, old and new
friends coming by the
score, and the "house
counts " of the various hotels are mount
ing merrily upward and maintaining a
generous margin ovei previous years.
Golf has been the centre of interest, but
it has by no means crowded sports and
pleasures both indoors and out, into the
background, and various affairs have
helped to put in a busy and pleasant
week. Delightful sunshiny days, with a
faint suggestion of spring in the air, have
contributed to the enjoyment of all.
At The Carolina.
The Carolina is the centre 'round which
the life of the Village radiates during
midseason activities, and the week has
witnessed many delightful affairs. The
corridors are thronged with congenial
people, and happiness and good cheer are
radiated everywhere. A progressive
bridge whist tournament occupied a por
tion of the week, and the regular Wednes
day and Saturday evening dances were
much enjoyed, many of the villagers
joining with the guests.
