Iley wood, Watkins Robards, W. A. Graham, Jr., W. W. Vass, made up a merry party of Raleigh vis itors who came Saturday night, remaining over until Monday, keeping busy every moment. At The Holly Inn. Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Green, Jersey City, spent the week here, and will return in April. Mr. Donald B. Logan and Miss Henrietta T. Watson, Worcester, Mass., join Mrs. Logan and daughters. Mrs. E. II. Reppert, Miss Henry and Miss K. W. Howell, Uniontown, Pa , are making an ex tended visit. Mrs. Harriet D Rowley, Buffalo, N. Y., and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sayer, Canandaigua, N. Y., will remain until the end of March. Mr. J. B. Eisman and Rev. S. B. McCormick, Pittsburg, come for several weeks. Mrs. J. M. Quigley, New York, joins her sister, Mrs. II. Vaughun Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Thos. A. McMillan and two chil dren, Brooklyn, will remain some time. General C. N. Carlton, U. S. Several sprays of arbutus in full bloom were found last Tuesday. The dainty flowering phyxie moss is also just coming out. The phyxie's date this year is about the same as last year, whereas the garden crocus bloomed fully three weeks earlier this year than last. A number of flow ering shrubs are far ahead of their usual time, and everything points to an early spring. IN PIIOOHESS TODAY. Base Hall and Monkey Golf Are Attracting- Attention. The fourth ball game of the season and a four team Monkey Golf tourney for women are in progress as The Outlook goes to press, and arousing much interest. Moore County Fair. A meeting for the purpose of organiz ing the Moore County Fair, will be held at the Court House, Carthage, Monday, March 5, at 1 :30 P. M. A general invi tation is extended- Euchre at The Berkshire. Progressive euchre provided a pleasant evening at The Berkshire, Wednesday, Miss Daisy Mackall, Mrs. J. McN. Mack all, Mrs. Emily C. Cormerais and Mrs. S. II. Seeds being the prize winners.
