Dan florgan, PINEHURST KENNELS, JIDSEASON is at its height, and the various hotels are filled very close to their capacity, with congenial people, who are finding pleasure indoors and out, and making the most of weather which makes nil glad to be alive. Of social pleasures and out door sports there have been many, Tuesday's gym khana, the women's St. Valentine's tour nament and trap and pistol tournaments being the leading features. Of events for weeks to come there are many, all an ticipated with keen interest. At The Carolina. Interest of the week at The Carolina has centered about the cotillion booked for Friday, the evening of The Out look's appearance, and an active com mittee have spared no pains to make the occasion in line with the brilliant affair of the week preceding. With bridge tables the public rooms are filled each evening, and dancing is a continual source of enjoyment for the younger set. Numerous affairs are planned for the weeks to come. AMONG THE GUESTS. Mr. and Mrs. F. Von Beren and child of New Haven, are spending several weeks here. Mr. and Mrs S. P. Davidge of Short Hills, X. J., return for February. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Xorth of Chicago, return for their annual sojourn. Mr. John G. Walker and Miss Annie R. Walker of Richmond, Va., return for a short visit. Mr. W. F. Aldrich and Mrs. W. II. Aldrich of Chicago, spent the week here. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Godfrey of Somerville, Mass., are here for their annual visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Ecob of Germautown, Pa., are making a ten days visit. Mr. L. E. Asherand Mr. Max Asher of Chi cago, are enjoying their first visit. Ex-Mayor and Mrs. Chas. N. Schieren of Brooklyn, will make an extended visit. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Potts of Lakewood, N. J., return for March. Mr. J. E. Jacobs of Boston, returns for golf. Mr. and Mrs. Judson Williams of Lynn, Mass., are here for their annual sojourn. Mrs. J.
