The week has been one of social activ ity with bridge and dancing leading in popularity, the usual hops and a pro gressive bridge tournament for women, occupying attention, Mrs. W. Hethering ton, Miss McLeod, Mrs. J. II. Boviard and Miss Grace R. Gabrielle, being the prize winners. AMONG THE GUESTS. The return of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Woodbury of Washington is welcomed by a large circle of acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Black of Buffalo, will remain through the month. Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Wilson and children of Summit, N. J., are spending several weeks here. Mr. Wilson is the business manager of the American Maga zine. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tirrell of Wash ington. D. C, are making a short visit. Mrs. S. F. Scattergood of Philadelphia, j joins her husband, a welcome addition to the younger set. Mrs. J. H. Pease of New Haven, plans a lengthy sojourn. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dreher of Cleve land, are here for the season. Mr. M. J. Condon, Jr., of New York, joins his parents. Mr. T. J. Kennedy and Mr. J. W. Ash burn of New York, are here for ten days visit. Mr. P. W. Whittemore, one of Massa chusetts star amateur golfers, is here for next weeks tournament, accompanied by A. S. WToods of Boston. Mr. W. M. Ashley and Mr. R. Y. Grant of New Haven were guests of the week. Mrs. W. II. Devlin and Mr. W. II. Devlin, Jr.. of Brooklyn, spent a portion of the week here. Mr. and Mrs. A. II.
