Since it was built in 1895, it has been necessary to enlarge it several times to meet the constant ly increasing demand. The interior is elegant, cheerful and tasteful. No modern convenience is lacking. There are bath rooms, electric lights, steam heat and open fireplaces. There is a call bell in every room, and all beds are furnished with best hair mattresses. An orchestra furnishes fine concerts daily, and also provides for dancing. The cuisine is unsurpassed. The waitresses are all white girls from the North. PPJL guests are coming in large numbers, many to remain through the month, and among them old friends are numerous. Affairs out of doors are crowding social pleasures more or less into the background for nature is irresistible both by day and by night. The air is balmy with the fra grance of blossoming flowers, and man kind rejoices with the birds in the joy of living! At The Carolina. The coming week will round out the most successful season in the history of The Carolina, many guests going to The Inn to remain through the month.
