The following is the Country Club's
schedule of tournaments for the balance
of the season :
GOLF TOURNAMENTS.
FEB. 10, 11, 12, 13 Fifth Annual St. Valen
tine's Tournament Qualifying round and finals,
eighteen holes. Gold medal for best qualifica
tion score; President's cup to winner of first
sixteen; Governor's cup to winner of second
sixteen; Secretary's cup to winner of third six
teen; Treasurer's cup to winner of fourth six
teen; Captain's cup to winner of fifth sixteen;
sterling cups to first division runners-up and
consolation division winners; silver medals to
division runners-up and consolation division
winners in the second, third, fourth and fifth
divisions.
Feb. 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 Third Annual St. Valen
tine's Tournament for Women Qualifying
round and finals, eighteen holes. Best eight or
sixteen scores to qualify ; eighteen boles to be
played in the morning of each day ; gold medal
for best qualification score, sterling cups for the
winner and runner-up. . On , Monday medal play
mixed foursomes, with cups for the best net
score will be played.
March 10, 11, 12, 13 Fifth Annual Clnb Cham,
pionship Tournament Open to regular mem
bers only. Qualifying round and finals, thirty
six holes; best sixteen scores to qualify. Gold
medal for best qualification score; Club Cham
pionship cup to winner, sterling cup to runner
up and winner of consolation division.
March 17,18,19,20 Fifth Annual Spring Tour

South Open Championship Thirty-six holes
medal play; amateurs winning to receive equiv
alent to their prize in plate. First prize $100

Tournament Qualifying round and finals,
eighteen holes. Sterling cup for best qualifica
tion score; President's cup to winner of first
sixteen; Governor's cup to winner of second
sixteen; silver medals to division runners-up
and consolation division winners in both divi

Feb. 6 Men's single for St. Valentine's cup.
March 6 Women's single for spring cup.
March 15, 16, 17- Championship men's and

medals.
TRAP SHOOTING TOURNAMENTS.
Feb. l to March 29 Weekly handicap tour
nament for sterling cup.
Gold medal for four best scores made dur
ing the season, winner to have shot at not less
than 800 targets.
PISTOL. TOURNAMENTS.
Feb. 23 Fifty shot handicap for sterling cup.
March 22-27 Annual Club Chamnionshin for
gold medals for men and women. U. S.R. A.
State Championship late in March; Association
medals for prizes.
N.B. All events open to both men and women.
Golf at Ilretton Woods.
Recognizing the importance of golf as
a resort asset, the course at Bretton
Woods will receive very important
lengthening and improving previous to
the opening of the coming season.
Side traps have been put in, the putt
ing greens enlarged and four hundred
and fifty yards added in length, increas
ing it to six thousand four hundred and
fifty yards.
Among the important events booked
for the season will be the annual summer
tournament of the Advertising Men.
Chapel Protestant Services.
Arrangements have been completed
for Protestant Services for the balance of
the season, and hereafter Communion
and Morning Services will be held at the
regular hours as arranged.
Communion on third Sunday of the
month 7.30 to 8 A. M.
Communion, except third Sunday of
the month 8.30 to 9 A. M.
Morning Services 11 to 12.05 A. M.
Sunday School 3.30 to 4 P. M.
The Rev. T. A. Cheatham will conduct
the Services during February and the
Rev. J. T. Schenck March to April 15th.
The Pinehurst Outlook will each
week announce the Services for the next
week. -
