is the lavish added money, amounting to
$1860. and including a guarantee of $500
and splendid cup to the Handicap winner ;
$200 and a cup to the Preliminary winner ;
gold and silver medals for high averages,
and liberal allowances in the sweepstakes ;
details of management in the hands of Lu
ther J. Squier, under the Squier money
back system, with regular additional and
optional entrance for the sweeps.
Informal practice shooting opens the
week on Monday and Tuesday, the pro
gram starting on Wednesday with ten
twenty-target events, which is duplicated
on Thursday. The hundred-target Pre
liminary on Friday will be preceded by
five twenty-target events, and the hundred-target
Handicap by the same pro
gram. The entrance for the former $10
and the latter $20, handicaps ranging
from sixteen to twenty-three yards with
an optional sweep of $2.00. The entrance
for all sweepstakes will be $2.00 with ad
ditional optional sweeps of $2.00 and
$2.50. The selection of the handicap
committee will be from the shooters in
attendance and the traps, the ideal-leggett
under the supervision of Charles North.
