Picturesque Countrywide Hound About Hlch in lluinan Interest Good roads and automobiles have given new meaning to the picturesque country side and its quaint human interest, round about Pinehurst. In truth little has been known by visitors, . of what it held in store until within the past few years, giving an added attraction which more and more are enjoying. As to the life of the residents the page twelve story concerning Mrs. McKenzie is suggestive of what life has meant for these pioneers, for such they truly are only one of many such lives. Merely suggestive pen pictures can be, however, for if you wish to read these chapters you must do so at the hearthscone in the homes themselves. Here you get at the subtle something known as personality, the elusive charm which words cannot convey. Spellbound we listen to the veterans tales of march, bivouac and battle while we pass idly by the historian's masterly treatment. Thus it is here : the real story must come from the characters them selves. "Bide a wee" and Listen.
