PAGE IK OUTLOOK WMgtfjJK "I THE PINEHURST LIVING PICTURES TONIGHT Annual Tableaux Anticipated from Year to Year as an Artistic Treat Folk Dances In Costume and Native Fiddlers' Convention Attractions of Immediate Future ANTICIPATED from year to year as an artis tic treat, are the annual living pictures which will be given at The Carolina tonight in aid of the Village Club Charitable fund. The program opens with "heads" of all nation types and conclud ing with "figures," mainly reproductions of famous masterpieces. Details of arrangement are in the hands of Misses Caroline and Lady Ful ler and Mr. Justus Kendall who have so successfully managed the affairs in the past. The program starts at 9.15, doors open at 8.45. The invitation is general. General dancing will be in order from 10.30 to 12, following the program. Kirmen is lext Week Friday Friday evening, March 15, is the date selected for the Kirmess in aid of the Village Club charitable fund, which will be given at The Carolina; the program one of novelty and starting at nine. Special interest centers in the folk dances in costume under the direction of Miss Ruby Mianda Stone, the list includ ing the Highland fling, Irish jig, Spanish gitana, Italian tarantella, Greek wind and wave, Dutch and Japanese dances. Among other attractive features will be songs by Mr. Child. Season's Most Unique Treat The season's most unique treat is prom ised in the second annual convention of native "fiddlers" in The Carolina music room Thursday evening March 12 at 8.30. Typical as it is no pen description can do justice to the affair for here one sees a side of which visitors know little. A collection is to be taken in aid of the Village public school for resident white children. The Spring: Coif Tourney Two hundred and thirty-one players drove off in the qualification round of the annual spring golf tournament Tuesday, final rounds of which are in progress to day. Attractive Ojnikhana Prog-ram An attractive program is announced for the equestrian gymkhana planned for Monday afternoon of the coming week ; several new featurers on the bill. .Indian IBasket Weaver An interesting feature at the Arts and Crafts Shop for the present week will be the presence of Sabatus Tomah, an Indian basket weaver and wood carver.
