New and Elaborate llu
A delightful element of anticipation
adds interest to the Village Club Fete in
the announcement of the committee as to
date "sometime after March 11." Brief
ly the idea is that everything is in readi
ness and the event will take place upon
the first fair day.
The pine grove is the scene of action
and the hours are from three to six with
music by The Carolina orchestra, card
tables, a men's putting competition, chil
dren's games, refreshments and surprises
as the attractions.
No one need have uneasiness as to the
event escaping their notice for town
criers will announce it with pomp and
ceremony bugle blasts and flashing
posters.
