Murray and Mr. John Robert Murray of Chicago are spending a fortnight here. Messrs. Lewis It. Speare of Boston and A. G. Batchelder of New York join the golfers. Mrs. J. J. Scott, Miss Margaret Scott and Miss Frances Scott of Hamilton will remain several weeks. Mrs. John Barclay and Master John Barclay, Jr., of Greensburg join Mr. Barclay. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Wilson of Brooklyn return for their usual visit. Mr. George E. Hodson of New Haven is welcomed by a large circle. Messrs. Thomas B. McAdams of Rich mond and J. R. Thomas of Charleston come for a fortnight's golf. At Tb Ilerkuliire and llarvard Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Holt, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Warner and Miss Florence Merw in of New Haven will make a long sojourn. Mr. Holt was one of the first visitors to Finehurst. Mr. F. S. Danforth and Mrs. E. T. Danforth of Brooklyn are spending a fortnight here. Mrs. W. G. Ballantyne of Elizabeth and Miss C. Quimby of Cleveland will make a long sojourn. Mrs. E. H. Hermans of New York is here for March. Messrs. C. D. Boynton of Perth Amboy, R. Boynton and Master Burrett Boynton of Woodridge come for a week's golf. Mr. and Mrs..F. Roberts of Rupert, Vt., will make a short stay. Mrs. H. W. Lillie, Mrs. XV. W. Sprague and Miss M. E. Sprague of Somerville will remain through March. Mr. Edwin Henderson of Detroit joins the golfers. Mr. Edwin L. Harman, Master Willard Harman and Miss Louise Harman of New York come for the month. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Walker of Brown wood, Texas, come for a fortnight. Miss Cora May Danforth of Brooklyn joins the family. For Mr. and ffln. Ilediiell's Prize Fourteen children participated in a putting tournament for prizes contrib uted by Mr. and Mrs. Tyler L. Redfield. Among the masters, Fred S. Miller and Oliver Redfield tied for first, Master Miller winning the plav-oft'. In third position James Tufts scored twenty-two, while Charles Hodgman made twenty three, Robert Hunter twenty-four, and Harold M. Jones twenty-six. f Wini fred Croft led the misses with eighteen, and Dorothy Dixon was second in twenty-three. Betty Marshall scored twenty-four, Virginia Burrage thirty, and Mary Hodgman thirty-seven. Mr. Mallory Wins at tne Trap Dwight F. Mallory was the winner of the weekly hundred-target trap shooting tournament, scoring ninety-three with an allowance of four targets. Parker W, Whittemore, the scratch contestant, was second in ninety-two, and Clarence Martin third in ninety, f Master Albert Tufts leads the juvenile squad with a record of twenty-two out of twenty-five. Prize by Mr. Price and 9iM Brown Miss Myra Bradwell Helmer and Miss Jennie Brown were the leaders in a tie at twenty-five in a Silver Foils putting competition for prizes presented by Mrs. J. B. Price and Miss Jennie Brown. In second position, Miss Blancke and Mrs. Brinton made twenty-six, and in third, Mrs. Gage, Miss Cummings and Mrs. VVaterhouse twenty-seven.
