GOLF COURSES IN PINK OP CONDITION
As the golf courses are in the pink of
condition and the number who are com
ing to enjoy play throughout April is
unusually large. For their accommoda
tion The Holly Inn will remain open
after the closing of The Carolina, about
the middle of the month. 1 A joy it is
to be alive these rare spring days, for all
nature is radiant with the suggestion of
spring and the promise of summer.

starts on Monday the classy and repre

SIX DIVISIONS EXCLUSIVE OF SPECIALS
Thirty-six hole qualification, starting
on Monday, will conclude with a thirty
six hole final in the' first division on Sat
urday. In addition to the. gold medal
for the best qualification score, the
Championship trophy will, be awarded
the winner in the first division, the Gov
ernor's trophy in the second, the Secre
tary's trophy in the third, the Treasurer's
pion, and Mrs. J. V. Ilurd (nee Dorothy
Campbell), former International Cham
