Yesterday afternoon the purchase of an attractive lot between the Village Chapel and the Walnut cottage was an nounced; a transfer which is significant because the buyers, Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Houston of Holyoke, are com pleting their first season here. f They will come down early in the fall to superintend building and will live in the Arbutus cottage which they occupied this winter, f The new home will be an attractive one, costing in the vicinity of $5,000. A garage will also be built and the grounds made most attractive. Mr. A. S. McNamara's seventy-four equalled the best round of the morning and his after noon's seventy-two pulled him through a winner with a liberal margin of four strokes, t One hundred and fifty, which is good enough for the average, tied M. J. Brady of Wollaston and John Dow ling of Scarsdale for second and third money, amounting to $75 which they divided. Brady, was also the winner of the special prize of $25 for the best single round of the day with his afternoon's seventyone. Dowling's rounds were a brace of seventy-fives.
