This is from the pen of the Association poet, duly illumined by the Association artist : Boy, if the phone should ring, If any one comes to call, Inform him I've gone to Pinehurst To drop in again next fall. Say I've a date at a certain tee Where my friends, the sand traps, wait in glee; And tell him the doc has ordered me t To keep my eye on the ball. And then, if the boss should sigh, Or for my presence seek, Tell him the truth don't lie- Say that my nerves were weak.
