Manager Butler Walker of The Caro
lina baseball team has issued a call for
candidates for this year's nine. Several
well known amateurs are already here
and the first practice game will be
played Monday afternoon. A novelty
of the season will be games with the
Philadelphia Nationals, the Baltimore
Federals. The University of Virginia
boys are also coming down during the
season for their usual game.
