Neaon' Haaelall Oamen
" General Manager" Walker, Pine
hurst 's McGraw, says Saturday 's baseball
game was only a beginning, but be that
as it may it was "good", and some two
hundred onlookers enjoyed the swatfest.
Gets Pinehurst acquainted does baseball,
offers opportunity to meet some of the
"workers" who contribute to your wel
fare, gives a rosy hue to your outlook on
life and things in general. H Yes, make
all the noise you like I
Village slipped three men across the
plate in the first inning and handed the
Carolinas a goose egg, but in the next
inning the hilltop boys reversed the score,
only to he one to the bad at the end
of the third. Double oughts for two
periods and one more run for the Village
in the sixth with a brace and three runs
for a six seven win for the Carolina in
the seventh. Say, them echoes is
ringin' yet!
