17 THE PINEHURST OUTLOOK PASSENGER ASSOCIATION Railroad Men Hold Meeting at the Carolina jKake Eighteen IIol of CJoIf anp a Day's Work IBetween Breakfaiit and Supper mm The big railroad of ficials in charge of all the passenger traffic on roads South of the Ohio and East of the Mississippi River held session here from Tuesday last until Thursday evening. It was the regular meeting of the Southeastern Passen ger Association, which is held four times a year. The last meet ing was in Washington and the next will be in Florida in March. The members were kept pretty busy determining their policies and agreements concerning every phase of the passenger traffic in the South rates and divisions of fares, the plans for the movement of troops, joint mileage, and the thousand and one details of America's greatest business. But they took time to see the country a bit and to do their eigh teen holes a day. And they were all very generous in their praise of the section and their reception. Heartily as we welcomed them all we were of course particularly glad to see our old friends and fellow workers from the roads that lead to the Sandhills, H. L. Leard, General Passenger Agent of the Norfolk Southern, and C. B. Ryan of the Seaboard. Presi dent Young of the N. & S. was also a notable figure in the party, which included: AV. J. Craig, P. T.
